The Discourse, Media and Society research cluster is made up of world-class scholars and academics who are innovative, creative, qualitative and quantitative in terms of teaching, research and community outreach activities. In this cluster, our research focus is on the relationship between language use in any context of human communication and the place of formal and informal media (news media, social media, etc.) in the society. This field of media and communication studies is strongly anchored on the theories of human behaviour, the philosophies of human existences and the praxis of social relations.
