The research activities of this cluster will be directed at macroeconomic policies including monetary, fiscal and income policies designed to ensure a stable economy. Research activities in this sub-cluster will also examine issues on financing, investment as well as capital flows into African region. Most of these research works will be based on modern macroeconomic models particularly general economic analysis in order to understand interaction between agents and economies within African region and the rest of the world.
